KONGO SAB 金剛 Heavyweight Black Uniform

 The KONGO 金剛 (Indestructible) Heavyweight Black Uniform, designed for practitioners of Japan's original martial arts.TOKAIDO was the first to manufacture the black uniform based on requests from these styles to provide a comfortable, stealthy uniform. The KONGO 金剛 (Indestructible) Heavyweight Black Uniform soon gained in popularity and is now preferred by many styles throughout the world for its superior deep dark black color and distinctive crafstmanship. The KONGO 金剛 is made from 100% cotton canvas #10 and is ideal for wicking away sweat.

Important note: The KONGO 金剛  is produced in the traditional way which will create some inconsistent color patterns over time. This is normal and to be expected much in the same way our black belts change with hard training. In fact, this is the mark of real training and is looked on with respect in Japan. In any case, it is important to wash the uniform individually in cold water with a mild liquid soap for the best results.

Anticipated shrinkage when properly cared for: Length up to 2.3%. Width: up to 3%.

Custom Embroidery 

Tokaido Japan provides the highest quality embroidery in Japanese or English. No company can surpass the level of embroidery perfected by Tokaido. You may choose to embroider your style name and/or your personal name in the general locations designated in the uniform graphic. For Japanese text, please select from the pop up menus by clicking on the Kanji Style Names or the Names in Japanese Katakana below the field that you desire. Production Time 

As with all uniforms that are made in Japan by Tokaido Japan, each uniform is made as it is ordered. This way we can ensure that you receive the best uniform possible. Currently unembroidered  and embroidered uniforms require up to 8 weeks.
